Ms. Díaz focuses her practice exclusively on representing workers in a range of employment matters including sexual harassment, gender/pregnancy discrimination, disability discrimination, and wrongful termination. Ms. Díaz is bilingual in Spanish and English. She has a wide range of experience practicing in state and federal court, as well as advocating for her clients in arbitration. One of her recent victories includes obtaining an arbitration award of $750,000 for a nurse in a defamation case against Methodist Hospital.

Ms. Díaz graduated from Stanford University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a secondary major in Public Policy. In 1990, she studied at Princeton University as a Woodrow Wilson National Fellow. In 1994, she received a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, and in 2001 she graduated from Stanford Law School.

Ms. Díaz has received numerous awards for her legal work including: the Wiley W. Manuel Award by the State Bar of California; Outstanding Legal Services Award from the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program; and a 2003 Outstanding Service Award from Senator Barbara Boxer. In 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, Ms. Díaz was named a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers, an honor bestowed only on the top 2.5% of the best up-and-coming attorneys under 40 years of age.

Ms. Díaz has further published in the California Labor & Employment Law Review, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and has appeared as a guest attorney on The Cristina Show, the #1 rated Spanish-language talk show seen worldwide. She also has served as a speaker for several legal organizations including the State Bar of California Labor and Employment Law Section, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Latina Lawyers Bar Association of Los Angeles, and the California Employment Lawyers Association.

Ms. Díaz is a member of several organizations including: the State Bar of California; the National Employment Lawyers Association, the California Employment Lawyers Association; the Mexican-American Bar Association of Los Angeles; and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association of Los Angeles. She currently serves on the board of The Los Angeles County State Bar of California, Labor and Employment Executive Committee and the State Bar of California Labor and Employment Law Section.
